The TitleExpress state tables for North Carolina have been updated with the following changes that become effective October 1, 2008:

• Increasing the deed of trust/mortgage recordation fee to $24.00 for the first page and $3.00 each page thereafter for all jurisdictions.
• Modifying the State Excise Transfer Tax by rounding up to the nearest $500.00 prior to calculating for all jurisdictions.
• Enabling the manual source entry for the Local Transfer Tax on HUD-1 Settlement Statement line 1202 for Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Dare, Pasquotank, and Perquimans Counties.
