1009-S Form for 2009

IT'S HERE! The IRS has posted its 2009 Form 1099-S, and the TitleExpress-integrated version is now available in the TSS Master Forms store (cost is zero). The master form does require some customization before it can be merged for a TitleExpress order. After the master form is placed in your forms folder, use the Document Preparation System to open the master form and complete the Master Form Setup Options table. For instructions on how to open a master form and edit the setup options, click the following link to the TSS Online Support Center, Software Updates, Master Forms:

HOWEVER, did you know you don't have to use this form? You can instead use the HUD-1 1099-S trailer as a Substitute 1099-S form. To do this, when printing the HUD-1, select the Substitute 1099 for the Page 1 Trailer. After the sellers complete the necessary information and are given a copy, your reporting requirement to the sellers is met.
