When working with the TitleExpress Document Preparation System, I am often interrupted and need to switch to other applications. Here are my favorite shortcuts for moving around in Windows.

1.  Minimize all open applications . . . Windows Key +  D (think "D" for Desktop)

2.  Go to an active application . . . .  ALT (hold it down; use a thumb)

                                                  + TAB (tap it until desired application is selected)

                                                  + release ALT
