According to the New Rule, the column labels on the 2010 HUD-1 cannot be changed for 1031 Exchange Transactions. We have confirmed this with HUD.

However, for non-RESPA transactions, the workaround is to either use a 1986 HUD-1 and change the column headings or export the 2010 HUD-1 to Microsoft Word document.

To export the 2010 HUD-1 to Microsoft Word document, follow these steps:

1. Click the Export Report button in the HUD-1 Print Preview window. 
2. Browse to the C:\OMTMP folder in the Save in drop-down list. This saves the document with the order currently open in TitleExpress.
3. Enter a file name in the File Name field.
4. Select Microsoft Word (*doc) in the Save as type drop-down list.
5. Click Save.

The document can be accessed in the Document Manager and edited in Word.
