If you need to move a charge between the tolerance tables on Page 3, then just select the correct option for Provider Identified By on the HUD-1 line on Page 2.

There are two options available for Provider Identified By: (1) Borrower and (2) Lender. Selecting Borrower displays the charge in the Charges That Can Change tolerance table. Selecting Lender displays the charge in the 10% tolerance table.

For example, if the lender asks you to move the Title services and lender’s title insurance charge from the 10% tolerance table to the Charges That Can Change tolerance table, double-click line 1101 and select Borrower for the Provider Identified By option. Click the GFE Comparison link to move to Page 3 and notice that the charge moved to the Charges That Can Change tolerance table.
