Effective January 1, 2011, title insurance policy forms and rates used in the District of Columbia must be filed and approved by the District's Department of Insurance, Securities and Banking (DISB) before use. (The date by which to file rates has been extended to March 31, 2011.) TitleExpress-integrated forms and rates are updated as underwriters make them available and approve them for distribution.
