The 2022 1099-S Reporting Application
is now available. This includes:
- 1099-S installation files for
TitleExpress
- 1099-S Guide for TitleExpress
with instructions for installing, reporting, and uploading to the IRS FIRE
System
Please note that
the FIRE Production System will begin accepting submissions on January 6, 2023,
per IRS
Publication 1220.
TitleExpress System Requirements
Before you
install, make sure your workstations are on TitleExpress v9.8 or later. If you
need to upgrade, contact SMS Customer Support for assistance.
Installed Customers
Log on to the TitleExpress 1099-S page for information on installing the
1099-S Reporting Application and to obtain the files. You must have System
Manager rights on the website to access this page.
Please note that the
application must be installed on the server/workgroup host computer and 1099-S
Reporting workstation.
Hosted/Cloud Customers

installation.
