TitleExpress™ State Tables for the Commonwealth of Virginia are
available. The tables now reflect the following changes effective July 1,
2017.
- Jurisdictions in which open-space easements are held by the
Virginia Outdoors Foundation - $1.00 recordation fee imposed on each
instrument or document recorded in the proper book for filing of land
records.
- The following jurisdictions have electronic filing systems
and have increased fees for paper filing as follows:
Alexandra + $5.00
Arlington + $5.00
Augusta + $5.00
Dinwiddle + $5.00
Fairfax + $5.00
Isle of Wight + $5.00
James City + $2.00
Norfolk + $5.00
Powhatan + $5.00
Prince William + $5.00
Roanoke City + $5.00
Rockingham (except for Harrisonburg) +$2.50 (note: additional
increase of $2.50 expected 1/1/2018)
Staunton + $5.00
Suffolk + $5.00
Virginia Beach + $5.00
Wise + $5.00
York + $2.00
New
State tables will offer the paper recording fee option AND the ERecording
option indicated by a suffix of EREC or ER (as space allows) after the
jurisdiction name in your dropdown box. If
you plan to use the ERecording option, download
instructions for setup of the ERecording Vendor Information.
Customers with a
current Software Services Subscription can purchase updated state tables at a
cost of $50 for each set of tables.
